Quote: You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending” CS Lewis
Article: All of us hear and see a lot of success stories all around us and sometimes we wonder how lucky those friends are? We feel envious, regretful and wonder why can’t I be like him or her. Have so much success, have money, power and respect from others. I too felt this way many times in life, so I did a little research about such successful people and found out that they were ordinary people with very ordinary skills, who were willing to think practically, who were willing to start from where they are and with whatever they have. The key I realized was they are willing to start and not wait for the right moment or the right situation. These successful people are action oriented, I call them practical dreamers. They take baby steps towards their ladder of success to reach the epic summit of their dreams.
My story: I was pondering over 2 years to start my own podcast series, be a writer, speaker and coach. All I did was to wonder how will people and my friends pursue me as a speaker, writer or orator. The same stories of such ordinary people inspired me and helped me take the first step of starting. I did start with whatever I had and here I am speaking to you on my podcast, recording them many times speaking to you. I think success begins only by starting a one step.
Action for the Day: Why wait for everything to fall in place, trust in time. Trust in your ability, trust that you have all the skills to become, who you always wanted to be. Haven’t you been pondering on your idea, to long the business you wanted to start, the job you wanted to change, that exercise you wanted to start, the diet plan, whatever it is you are thinking of doing today take the first step and JUST START TODAY.
Let me reminder you the quote for the day “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending”
